FAQ

FAQWe receive a lot of questions every day. Most are quick and more of a verification that what they are ordering is actually in stock. This would be on Etsy. They have an annoying trend of placing the count, such as "Low in Stock" on anything that does not have more that 11 as the quantity.

That's where it gets really confusing. Many of our products are set up to be simplified (usually!) in that you simply select from a list and checkout. We never have anything in our store that we aren't able to either make and ship quickly or is already made and ready to ship. No waiting.
Here is a small list of our Frequently Asked Questions:

Do you have XX in stock?

...yes. If it is available for you to see, add to your cart and checkout, then it's available. If we do not have an item in stock or it's being re-designed, it will be unavailable for purchase but in some case, you may see a "backorder" option while we are updating.

Can you personalize/customize?
...yes. Though I should explain that there is a difference to Personalized vs. Custom. To compare:

How fast can I get these?
...pretty darn. We typically ship within 1-2 business days of order. That does mean we do not (mostly) ship on the weekends. Now you may see them delivering on a Sunday or a Holiday but those are for big box retailers, more specifically Amazon.

That isn't to say they won't deliver a package only that they do not have to until it's scheduled delivery date. As a former FedEx courier, we never delivered on Saturday or Sunday. In fact most of us had the weekends off unless it was holiday season and then we worked 7 days a week. We called it peak season and that was before e-commerce was actually a thing. Amazon only sold books back then! A lot has changed that is for sure.

You didn't actually answer my question!
...I know. I apologize. It's not really an answer I can give with any certainty. Transit and delivery are something I have Zero control over. I ship quickly but if the carrier (usually USPS) has issues, then delivery can be delayed.

I have experienced precious few issues with FedEx. I know I may seem partial and I am but not because they hold my pitiable pension (seriously it's awful!) but because they are indeed the most reliable.

I spend far less time apologizing for FedEx than I do USPS. That's an almost every day thing.

We do offer several upgrades in shipping speeds and if no upgrade is selected we will choose the correct transit based on the order and size.

Can I get a proof?
---yes. To some degree. To keep orders moving along we don't typically send a proof. This is most important when it's for a Memorial Service that is time-sensitive. Since we process an order right away, sometimes the time to allow for proofs can cause it to be delayed.

That's why we find it so wonderful that you can see a rough draft of what your item will look like. It's not exact, placement of letters and words may be ever so slightly different due to device settings and so on. It's just not possible to make an exact replica to properly display over 100's of devices, operating systems, browsers and private VPN's. The sample is just so you can see what you typed and make sure it's spelled correctly and formatted in the way you would like.

I bought something, can I get more of the same identical thing?
---yep! We actually receive about 12% of orders that are re-orders because the item was so popular at the event, all were taken and not everyone got one. It happens more than you would think!

For that reason, we save a digital copy of every order for up to 2 years. We may have them longer but 1-2 years is a safe bet that we would still have a copy of a previous order.

I saw your items at an event, can I get some for mine?
...certainly! Browse our selection or use the search to find the exact item you want and purchase it.

Do you have a specific shipping schedule?
...no. While we try to do our best, things happen. Life intrudes, our order load is heavier than usual or it's a weekend. We do *try* to leave a bit of wiggle room for those really time-sensitive (FedEx Overnight for example) ones and may be able to ship same day of order. That depends on many factors but an Overnight package should actually be Overnight if possible.

To put it in general terms and subject to change (that's vague!):
In our off-season for USPS (November-January) we ship M-W-F
On Season (February-October) we ship M-F
Any season FedEx ships as soon as it's processed M-F

Can I pay extra to get it faster?
...no. Not really. We do not charge to rush an order since we do that on our own. We won't charge for a service that we give in the normal course of doing business. In other words, we don't charge for something we give freely.

On regular, standard (First Class) shipments, we stick to our M-W-F schedule.
You *can* pay extra to upgrade your shipping but we do not make money off shipping changes so we refuse to upcharge a "rush fee". Some may and that's fine, it's just not how we choose to run our business.

Will you remove my personal information?
---yes. In pursuant to all applicable laws, if you request to have your personal (name, address, phone, etc) information removed from our database simply send a message and we'll take care of it right away.

Can you make me something using this sample I found on Pinterest?
...maybe. Again, there are several situations where a yes or no isn't readily available.

Firm NO examples:
- It belongs to someone else.
- It's trademarked or copyrighted
- Is licensed to someone else.
- Is from another Etsy shop.
- Is clearly a brand that has all the rights; Disney, Harley Davidson, Gerber, Capcom and Mattel (Barbie anything) being the big ones. They are aggressive about protecting their brand (so am I) and I am happy, and legally, required to comply. Personally...I have an aversion to going to jail over a 15.00 T-Shirt.

Possible YES examples:
- I am able to find it in any of the "public domain" websites. (and that is questionable as well)
- I am able to use the license from any of the places I pay monthly to use images
- It is not a protected image or design.

While that list seems daunting, it can give you an idea about some of our policies. This is not all inclusive. If you didn't find your answer, please feel free to reach out to us with either the chat button in the lower right or by using our Contact form.

We hope this helps!
